Job Title: Mid-to-Senior J2EE Developer
Location: Fairfax, VA Date Posted/Updated: May 15, 2007

Position: Contract (1099 or corp-to-corp) or Permanent Hire (W-2 hourly)
Initial Duration: 3 to 6 months (w/ follow-on possible)
Citizenship/Clearance: Required
Project Technologies: J2EE, Servlets, EJB (session), JDBC, Oracle PL/SQL, XML, HTML, JSP, Oracle 10g DB and Oracle App server 10g; XSD, SAX API usage
Role and Responsibilities: Mid-to-Senior Java developer to work on a web-based data entry and document creation system for the Army. Looking for someone with experience in J2EE/web application development and performance enhancement. Candidate should also have experience in automated testing design and implementation using tools and methods like JUnit and Selenium. Near-term work will likely involve some analysis of the large, multi-module code base to find areas most in need of automated unit tests and then retrofit them with testing code. Subsequently, candidate will likely be involved in refactoring areas of the application and/or developing system enhancements. Will be expected to juggle new development responsibilities along with responding to production trouble tickets. Will be expected to work with users to develop and record requirements for new change requests. Will be expected to develop features from the JSP front-end through the Servlet and EJB layers to a JDBC data access logic calling an Oracle stored procedure.

Job Title: Junior-to-Mid J2EE Developer
Location: Fairfax, VA Date Posted/Updated: May 15, 2007

Citizenship/Clearance: Not Required
Project Technologies: J2EE, XML, HTML, JSP, Oracle, WebLogic
Role and Responsibilities: Junior-to-Mid Java developer to work on a financial system implementation for CGI customer. Familiarity with Struts or other MVC frameworks a plus, as will be using a similar in-house framework. Remote work is possible, and excellent communication skills are required. Near term work will involve maintenance of the product, but new features are added on a regular basis.

Job Title: C#/.NET Developer – Fairfax

Citizenship/Clearance: Required, successful applicant will be put in for a DoD Secret clearance
Experience Qualifications: Mid-to-senior level, minimum of 6 years software development, at least 4 working with object oriented approaches
Skills Required: web application development experience, C#, Windows Forms Development, .NET framework, Visual Studio.NET, Visual SourceSafe, object-oriented programming and design (OOP/OOD), 3-tier architecture and design, strong oral and written communication skills
Skills Desired: Oracle DB
Role and Responsibilities: Candidate will work as a member of the larger software development team; the majority of requirements are specified and the near-term focus is on design and development. Candidate will be a hands-on software engineer doing requirements analysis, software design, and development/unit test of code. Candidate may also assist in software estimating, scheduling, status reporting, and coordinating across the project. This position will likely involve significant interaction with the Government end-customer. The position requires experience in Object Oriented Analysis and Design. Deep object-oriented experience in a language other than C# (e.g., J2EE) is preferred over C# experience with no object-oriented skills. Experience in application development versus web development is very important.
